Big Travels Ahead!

Happy Monday friends!

We are coming in with such exciting news! This week, I am heading to Bangladesh!

This will be my first time going back since I was 8 years old. I have been wanting to go back to visit since I launched the business, and this is our first opportunity to travel there safely in the past few years. I’m so thrilled to finally meet our artisan partners in person.

This will be a great opportunity for us to develop potential new products. You all have been so fundamental towards the growth of our business for the past three years. You’ve shared what you wanted to see from 700 Rivers and you’ve never steered us wrong! You’ve helped us add new scents and new products to our business for the last couple of years and now we are coming back for your input!

2. Are there any products that we don’t carry that you would love to see (either to buy for yourself or gift to friends)?

I expect this trip will not only be great for developing our business, but also be quite a personal and emotional journey for me. The memories I have from my last childhood visit consist of loving my grandmother’s cooking, spending every free moment playing and running around outside with my cousins, and eating the best produce of my life: delicious lychees, fresh sugarcane, and the juiciest mangoes in the world.

This time I’m looking forward to creating new memories - I’ll also be able to visit family members, see and stay at my grandparents’ home again, and see parts of my parent’s history that I’ve heard so much about in stories.
